Nohad Mansour, a Druze-Israeli IDF veteran, served with the 101 Paratrooper unit in the IDF for three years.  He recently returned to combat in Gaza.


The Daily Brine: Combatting Anti-Semitism and Anti-Israel Bias the Jewish Way - with Humour
Ryan Turkienicz and Eric Turkienicz are the founders of The Daily Brine, a popular satirical social media and online "news site" pushing back against Anti-Semitism and the vilification of Israel that surrounds the community each day.

Michael Osborne is a Toronto lawyer, a Catholic, and an active and outspoken ally of Canadian Jews. He’s the founder of Bring Love, a new organization dedicated to deepening ties between Catholics and Jews and combating antisemitism together.


Oy Canada: What it's been like covering Canadian and Israeli news since Oct. 7 
Ellin Bessner is a Canadian journalist based in Toronto. She writes and hosts a daily podcast for The Canadian Jewish News called The CJN Daily.    She is the author of a book about Canadian Jews in the military titled "Double Threat".

Political Engagement: One of the Keys to Combating Jew Hatred
Rick Ekstein, an experienced businessman and political operative, will explain how politicians approach these issues and what you can do to support the community. As a mentor to young university graduates, Rick will also discuss the incredible benefits for young people in launching their careers by working as political staffers and the significant impact they can have on shaping policy.

Thank you for considering Beit Rayim to celebrate the High Holy Day services.  Beit Rayim Synagogue & School is an Egalitarian Conservative synagogue located in the Vaughan JCC campus. High Holy Day services will take place in the Kimel Education Building.  Beit Rayim means House of Friends.  We take pride in warmly welcoming everyone who enters our doors.
