On November 4, 2018, Beit Rayim proudly co-sponsored with the Town of Richmond Hill, our 10th annual Holocaust Education Week program. Thank you to Mayor Dave Barrow, Beit Rayim’s Sandra Gold Millstein, and the Dora Wasserman Yiddish Theatre of Montreal. Thank you, as well, to everyone who came out! It was a beautiful evening, the performance was a true homage to the poets and composers who crafted these songs during the holocaust.

Since November 2024, Beit Rayim Synagogue’s Feed the Children School Lunch Program has been making a remarkable impact in York Region schools. What began with one public school has grown into a thriving initiative now serving three schools, providing 150 nutritious lunches every week to students who arrive without food. To date, the program has proudly prepared and delivered over 2,000 lunches—and the numbers continue to grow.
